Brandon Belford | Advisor
Brandon Belford is an Advisor for Boundary Stone Partners. He spent more than six years serving in leadership and decision making roles within the U.S. Department of Transportation, National Economic Council at the White House, and the U.S. Department of Energy. In these roles Brandon led numerous high profile activities which included successfully negotiating international aviation arrangements with Cuba and Japan, establishing transportation and smart cities partnerships with China and India, launching economic revitalization efforts in Detroit, developing reauthorization legislation for Federal transportation programs and immigration reform, creating the national travel and tourism strategy, and managing the $11.3 billion of Recovery Act funding allocated to states and local units of government for energy efficiency and renewable energy programs.
Prior to joining the Obama Administration, Brandon was an Analyst at SunEdison, a growth-staged company that was the largest solar energy services provider in North America at the time. Here he managed the renewable energy credit portfolio, developed financing structures for solar energy systems, and executed business development strategies to realize new market opportunities. Brandon began his professional career at Banc of America Securities as an Analyst and Associate where he underwrote and traded corporate bonds and credit derivatives across multiple industrial sectors. Brandon holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was born and raised in Flint, Michigan, and is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
