Daniel joined Boundary Stone Partners from the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) where he worked with local, state and federal transportation and enforcement agencies, and industry representatives in North America to advance commercial motor vehicle safety. While at CVSA, Daniel developed and executed policy strategies to advance the organization’s mission through legislative and regulatory initiatives.
During his time at CVSA, Daniel worked with Congress to secure COVID-19 relief for state governments, develop policy changes and create a new grant program in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), and worked with appropriators to address program challenges at the U.S. Department of Transportation. In addition to working with Congress, Daniel worked with representatives at the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, National Highway Safety Administration, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration and Federal Highways Administration (FHWA) to enhance commercial motor vehicle safety, streamline grant programs and improve regulatory effectiveness. Daniel also served on FHWA’s Truck Parking Coalition and Highway Safety Partners Venture.
Prior to his time at CVSA, Daniel worked for the National FFA Organization where he assisted communities with local engagement and development efforts.
Daniel is a graduate of Ohio State University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs with a concentration in campaigns and elections.
